Job description / Role
Main Responsibility
• Managed day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
• Conducted monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring discrepancies were promptly addressed and resolved.
• Prepared and analysed monthly financial statements, providing key insights to support decision-making processes.
• Collaborated with the finance head to develop and monitor budgets.
• Assisted in the preparation of monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Supported the accounts payable process, verifying invoices and processing payments in compliance with company policies.
• Conducted inventory reconciliations to track food and beverage costs, identifying areas for cost optimization.
• Assisted in the implementation of internal controls, contributing to improved financial accuracy and compliance.
• Handling payroll and petty cash preparation and reports.
• Handling Daily Sales Report.
Requirements
Qualification
• A Graduate of a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Should have a minimum of 2 years of working experience as a Jr. Accountant here in DUBAI or UAE.
• Should have a minimum of 2 years of working experience as a junior accountant in the restaurant industry.
• Restaurant-specific accounting practices.
• He should be well familiar with handling corporate and personal bank transactions.
• Proficient in accounting software, preferably QuickBooks.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and analysis.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office preferably MS Excel
• Proficient in Budgeting and Forecasting.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
