UAE JOBS Jr. Accountant – Accounts Payable | Temp. Contract (6 Months) – Dubai, UAE
Job description / Role
– Monitor and track all payment transactions and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
– Reconcile accounting works by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances, PO, invoices, etc.
– Manage payments to suppliers, vendors, employees, and/or clients by verifying expense reports and preparing pay checks.
– Ensure payment is received for outstanding credit and respond to all vendor and supplier enquiries regarding finance related matters.
– Prepare analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports.
– Process, verify, and reconcile invoices, monitoring expenses, and updated records.
– Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Requirements:
– Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance.
– Proven working experience in Accounts Payables
– Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
– Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
– Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
– Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
– Proficiency in English and in MS Office
