Job description / Role
Job Summary:
As the Operations Director, you will play a critical role in the success of our Clients holiday home management business. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the holiday homes, ensuring that they are maintained to the highest standards and providing exceptional guest experiences. This position requires a candidate with at least 7 years of relevant experience, proficiency in Excel, basic financial skills, and a strong preference for candidates with experience in the real estate or hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operational Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the operations team, ensuring seamless and efficient operations of holiday homes.
• Property Maintenance: Oversee property maintenance, repairs, and improvements to ensure that all holiday homes are well-maintained and in optimal condition.
• Guest Services: Ensure that guests receive top-notch services and support during their stay, resolving any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
• Financial Management: Manage the financial aspects of operations, including budgeting, expense control, and financial reporting.
• Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure the timely delivery of services and supplies.
• Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor operations team members to maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Data Analysis: Utilize Excel and other tools to analyze performance data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize operations.
• Compliance: Ensure all holiday homes are compliant with local regulations and licensing requirements.
• Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior management on key performance metrics, financial results, and operational achievements.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in business management or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Basic financial skills with the ability to manage budgets and financial reports.
• Experience in the real estate or hospitality industry is a major plus.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Dubai’s real estate and vacation rental market.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
